Baby Shower

Carly threw me a baby shower and it was so much fun. My mom and all my sisters came from Seattle and Portland. It was a full house! The shower was book themed (we have inherited almost everything we needed, so Carly came up with the awesome idea to build our library). Carly made all the decorations and got cupcakes from Sweet Wife Baking in Baker City. If was an open-house style so people came and went whenever they had time. It was really fun to have everyone here to celebrate with us, but especially my Mom and sisters, Glenda, Carly, and Grandma Aldrich there. I am so blessed with such wonderful women and examples in my life. Anyway, I'm terrible with words, so on to the beautiful pictures taken by Carly (I am also terrible with pictures, just for the record).

Sweet Wife Baking made these adorable hungry hungry caterpillar cupcakes.

The treat table. Carly made all the decor!

"Thank You" cookies for the way out

Grandma Aldrich (Glenda's Mom), Glenda, and Dylan for the little bit he was at the party :)
This is the 3rd grandkid for Dylan's parents, the first boy!

Harston Clan! Lisa, Kimberly, Mom, Me, Natalie, Jenny

This is the 14th grandkid for my parents!
The 9th boy (although still no Harston boys!)

The crib quilt Glenda made for the baby! I knew she was working on this
and have been drooling over it for a while. It looks so fantastic in the nursery.
I can't wait to wrap up the baby in this!

I love mine and Jenny's faces in this.

We received so many books to add to our children's library.
I am so glad Carly had this idea. I have some of the best
kids books now. This book is from the Chadwick's and
so beautifully illustrated.

Dylan took the picture and apparently doesn't understand focus....hah
Carly is such an awesome sister.

Okay, Dylan got the focus right in this one.....
