Washington Trip!

I was really missing my family and we knew it would be a while before the entire family would be able to go up to Washington, so we took advantage of the 3 day weekend (4 for us, since our shop is closed on Fridays!) and headed up to Washington. The drive was actually kind of miserable, and we will probably never travel over 4th of July again! But is was really fun to see my family!

Hendrix loves reading books in the car. He was reading a book to Lou to help keep her entertained.

Hendrix puked EVERYWHERE and I got covered in puke. The easiest shirt to reach was Dylan's church shirt, so I sported the button down and puke hair for the rest of the drive.

My Dad got a new drone with a camera. I could see what the drone saw from my phone and snap photos and videos. We sure had a blast with that! I said "the drone is looking at us! Quick everyone jump and I'll take a picture!" My mom is the only one that indulged me.

Of course we took the opportunity to go crabbing! We sure love our fresh crab :)

It was chilly enough one day to wear jackets. We were pretty excited about that. Dylan embroidered a camo hoodie for Hendrix and he LOVES it.

We went down to the beach to help clean out the crab and do some clam digging. Louie was indifferent, but Hendrix loved playing in the sand!

Another picture from the drone!

We are pretty serious about our crabby love.

"Dada. What dis?"

"Where go?"

Uncle will was coloring with Hendrix during church. Hendrix would point to a spot on the page and say "bubble" so Will would draw a bubble. Occasionally Hendrix would give Will a new color. He gave will gray that wasn't really showing up on the paper and kept pointing and saying "bubble" but Will's bubbles weren't really showing up. Hendrix got a little frustrated and took the crayon from Will and said "No. BUBBLE." and tried to draw one. It was hilarious.

Hendrix loves "mowe"s

Natalie bought two chicks right before she moved to Hawaii (they are spotted like Dalmatians). They've grown so much!

Dug up lots of clams! We will us most as crab bait, but we decided to try to cook some up. None of us had done this before, and we watched a ton of youtube videos but still weren't quite sure.....

put them on the grill to pop open! *we attempted to clean them and eat them, but we were pretty unsure still about what part we eat, and there was some pretty weird looking stuff in there. After trying to eat a couple different parts,we gave up and just added them to the crab bait!*

so much fun with the cousins!

William, Keith, Courtney, Connor, and Connor's girlfriend (now fiance!) Anna left way earlier than we did! They had some issues with their car, and since it was the 4th of July it was hard to find someone to help them out! We weren't keeping track of each other at all, and just happened to stop at the same time, at the same gas station, in Ellensburg! (also, it wasn't the gas station we typically stop at, it really was so funny!)
