After a particularly long, hard day we were sitting down to dinner and I realized I hadn't been outside! We had a late dinner, so it was already close to Hendrix's bedtime and starting to get dark, but we were determined to spend some time outside! We raced the setting sun and went out to Philips Reservoir and enjoyed the nice weather, the peaceful atmosphere, and throwing rocks into the lake :)

Hendrix was laughing so hard at the big splashes and kept pointing out the giant rocks he wanted Dad to throw in next.
He even threw some pretty big rocks himself!

Dylan was showing Hendrix the clay and teaching him about the composition of the ground we were playing on.
