Spring is definitely in the air. The weather has been warming up and all of our snow is melting! And my little buds are growing too :)
Hendrix LOVES this little strainer thing. He finally decided it was a hat and walks around saying "it's a hat! it's a hat!" and this morning decided Eloise wanted to wear it also....and woke her up in his attempts to put it on her. He just loves to share!
After I work out I like a protein shake. Hendrix loves to flip the switches on the vitamix and help me add all the ingredients. Sometimes, when I give him the banana to put in the blender, he takes a cute little bite out of it then throws it in. This morning he decided he wanted the entire thing. Isn't he adorable? So I added a new banana to the vitamix and he decided his last bite needed to be added too.
Post bath. Isn't she beautiful?? I swear she gets prettier every day. |
We've loved living closer to cousins! Now that we are only 10 minutes away from the Carlson's (instead of 45 minutes) we get over more frequently.
Baby Bear |
Nana got an expansion for the train set. Hendrix usually doesn't keep things put together (he just mostly makes messes...) but trains are serious business. I loved this look of concentration. |
Cleaning out the vitamix. "It's so loud!!" |
Silly Otis figured out how to climb the tree. He got over the fence...... |
Eloise loves her Aunt Carly time, although is not amused by her lack of lactation. It was, however, mine and Dylan's first date night sans babies! (We just went to an early dinner).
"Whatcha doin Dada?" |
Dylan and Shem when shed hunting. They didn't find any this time, but Dylan got some gorgeous pictures. I absolutely love living in this area.
Hendrix loves being a big brother. He likes to show Louie how to do things and make sure she is taken care of. She thinks he is the funniest thing and her face absolutely lights up when she sees him. They have such a great sibling relationship already, and I hope it continues to grow!
KILL ALL THE SPIDERS!
Dylan is terrified of spiders. I think I've told stories before of him throwing me in the line of fire to avoid them, or getting one of my brothers to squish them from under our bed, or other such silly things. Last night Dylan and I were laying in bed and I noticed a tiny spider hanging from a web over our bed. I pointed it out to Dylan (expecting him to freak out) and he didn't. I asked if he wanted me to get it and he said "no, it probably just wants to live and stuff." Surprised by this maturity from him, I should have just let it go. Instead I had to tease him. "Oh, it's coming back down!" I say. "KILL IT!! KILL IT!!" he yells......haha oh well, baby steps ;)
