Doodles

Dylan and I like to draw pictures and text them to each other. I wanted to post a few just to have them somewhere as documentation :)

I was trying to sleep and the TV was too loud...

There was a dead raccoon on the freeway.
Yes, I spell things wrong all the time.

Hendrix and I were on our way to Cannon Beach
and we missed our family!

I drew Dylan a picture of the sunset at Cannon Beach

There is a whole joke revolving around this...it's actually quite
fantastic. I have a very silly husband.

Not bad drawings for my pudgy fingers!

January

Hendo looking real fly in the sweat suit that was his daddy's

Dylan went hunting with a guy in the ward. He brought home 8 quail that we roasted and totally devoured.
They were so delicious. He has created a monster though, I want quail ALL OF THE TIME!

When we lay Hendrix down for a nap he grabs the blankets
and wraps them around himself. It's so sweet.

Zonked out! Playing to sleeping in 5 seconds flat!

My handsome dog knows he isn't suppose to beg, but
when Dad has tuna fish he can't help it!

I can't get enough of these!

"Don't worry Dad, I got the pedal."

This kid LOVES to bang on the piano.
We have a maesetro on our hands!

Atticus and Dylan got a duck and a goose!
The hunting season is finally getting good....now that it's almost over.....

Hendrix and his buddy Troy Haertling! Hex is just 10 days older,
but Troy is crawling circles around him.

Love hanging out with Papa

The last day of duck and goose hunting. Had to take advantage!

Nana watched Hendrix so I could go out too.

I guess I'll just work out behind the couch....

Hendrix LOVES playing in his carseat. He has figured out
how to rock it all the way forward, then throws himself back.
It's hilarious to watch.

I don't remember what I was feeding him...but he wasn't too happy about it.

Hendrix, 9 Months Old

 (From January 13, 2015)

9 months 6 days old • 20 pounds, 29.5 inches

December, Part 2

I was all gung ho about keeping the blog up....but I got behind. Surprise surprise.

We went to Camano Island for Christmas! The entire family went to Lisa and Quinn's house. It was so much fun! Our family is really outgrowing getting together at just a single house though! Dylan and I went up early so Dylan could help Lisa and Quinn remodel their master bathroom. Hendrix did great on the drive, the weather was beautiful (although it was weird not having a white Christmas!) and we loved seeing the whole family, including both missionary brothers!

Paul loved to help feed Hendrix!
And taste test all his food.....

Figuring out this rocking horse. He loved it!
That's Maverick in the background, just 10 months older!

He liked all the buttons on this car too.

Reading with Grandpa is always a favorite activity!

I made these jammies for Hendo without a pattern!
I forgot about seam allowance though....they are pretty skinny....

Christmas morning! 2 Grandparents, 7 children, 5 spouses, 14 grand children

Grandma and the grandkids did a live Nativity. It was wonderful!

Kimberly and I had a ginger cookie bake off. Both so delicious

Hendrix DOES NOT put food in his mouth. He wont eat anything chunky.
ONLY smooth baby food. It was pretty fun to see him discover an apple.
It gave me a little bit of false hope though! Still wont eat anything he
has to chew....

Dylan and Sean working in the bathroom, being cute twinners

Live Nativity

Harston Family Tradition! Line up youngest to oldest to go get stockings
and see the Christmas Tree. That's a pretty good looking group of Kids

Went to the beach Christmas evening. Loved it of course.
Hendrix loved wearing Aunt Natalie's hat.

Driving home! Hendrix playing with his new book and mirror!

Home again! Went to see Nana and Papa.
Hendrix with his cousin, Max. Just 5 months apart!
