The Final Product

Dylan Makes Dinner

Dylan is making Chicken Parmigiana for dinner tonight. He has NEVER cooked for me [unless you count mac and cheese and frozen pizza] and tonight he is cooking for us and our only married friends, Katie and Ashton. Looking forward to a delicious dinner!

Salmon and Risotto

I decided to add some fish into our diet. I made Salmon with Risotto. It was my first time cooking fish and actually turned out quite well. I have been craving fish a lot lately so I'm sure I'll experiment more with it! I just prepared the fish the way the package told me and Dylan said it tasted like how they season salmon in restaurants [I don't have much experience in that area ;)] Definitely a win.

Video Chatting

Natalie left our apartment in Provo a mere 4 hours ago. Now we are chatting with her and Mom in Washington.

Family Visits

I cooked my first roast ever!

Add some homemade mashed potatoes, some green bean casserole, and some good company and we had a pretty dang good meal!

Natalie and I wanted to do some crafting. Yes we are painting Christmas ornaments.

Dad and Mom Isaacson. They are so cute.

Dylan and I took Mom and Dad to Ikea......Mom is now an addict. We wandered the store, ate delicious meatballs, and Mom and Dad got us a pillow!

Our pantry, thanks to Mom and Dad and a Costco trip! [this is just everything that wouldn't fit in the kitchen]

They also got us a printer! Now I can print my art assignments from home and scan my sketches onto my computer!

Grape Juice

A good friend Laura Parkin [she use to babysit me growing up. she spoiled me rotten] has tons of grapes in her back yard. On Thursday my 2D design class was canceled so Jenny, Krista [her little sister], Jenny's girls and me all piled into Jenny's van and headed over to Laura's. Hailey was such a huge help picking grapes. She filled a whole bucket by herself! I don't know how many quarts were made that day, but I came home with 4! Actually, 2 were from last year, but still delicious.

What A Stud

Autumn Time

Autumn is my favorite time of year. Although we still don't have Autumn weather I am definitely in an Autumn mood. Dylan and I got pumpkins to carve [mine is the little one. 22.6 lbs. Dylan's was too big for the scale, so over 30 lbs] and I'm pulling out my favorite pumpkin recipes and Fall comfort foods. Now if only the weather would be more agreeable...
